About Me
I’m a Dublin based photographer & photography tutor, working across a wide range of genres- nature & macro photography, wildlife, landscapes, urban scenes & night photography. My approach to photography is grounded in understanding & intention. I focus on how light, composition and timing work together, & on helping people slow down & observe more carefully, so their images are created by design rather than by chance. But most importantly my main focus is making sure that the students I teach enjoy their creative journey.
Alongside my own photography practice, I work extensively as a photography tutor, delivering one-to-one tuition & small group workshops. I also tutor with Dublin Photography School, where I support students in developing both technical understanding & creative confidence. My teaching style is encouraging, enthusiastic & clear. I aim to remove confusion around camera settings & photographic concepts, explain the why behind techniques, & help people feel confident making their own creative decisions. Building confidence & enjoyment is central to my approach, so that photography becomes something people feel comfortable exploring & developing in their own way.
